In autumn 2000 I visited for the third time the rainforests of West Papua (former Irian Jaya).

I succeeded in photographing and filming the courtship display of two species of Birds of Paradise: King Bird of Paradise (Cicinnurus regius) and Wilsons Bird of Paradise (Cicinnurus respublica). From previous trip available: Photographs of Western Parotia (Parotia sefilata) and Brown Gardener (Amblyornis inornatus).
